Calls and outcomes

What a call record holds, the outcomes it can end with, and when each part arrives.

Every call to your number becomes a record: who rang, when, how long was billed, how it ended, a summary, and — once the call is over — the transcript turn by turn.

Outcomes

`outcome`	Meaning
`booked`	Your AI made an appointment.
`message`	Your AI took a message for you.
`transferred`	The caller was put through to you.
`answered`	Handled without a booking or a message — a question answered.
`missed`	Nothing came of it — the caller hung up early, or the call was spam.

These are the outcomes the REST API and MCP return. The call.ended webhook carries the raw value the voice engine recorded — see Webhook events.

When each part arrives

The record exists from the moment the call starts — call.started fires then.
billedSeconds is final once the call has ended and been metered — call.ended fires then.
The transcript lands shortly after the call ends — call.transcript.ready fires then.

Withheld numbers

from is null when the caller withheld their number. That is a real, common answer — plan for it rather than treating it as an error.
