What prepaid.ai is, and the idea underneath it.
prepaid.ai gives a business an AI receptionist on a real local phone number. It answers every call, around the clock, in a local accent, trained on the business it works for.
You build it and talk to it for free, in your browser. Paying comes after you have heard it — never before.
Prepaid, like a SIM#
A plan is a validity window: your number stays active and your AI keeps answering for the length of it, with a number of included minutes. Recharge and everything continues. Let it lapse and there is a grace period before the number is released.
- Calls are metered per second — included minutes first, then credits.
- Top-up credits roll over while a plan is active. Paid credit is never confiscated.
- Every movement of money appears in your ledger, in order, with a running balance.
- Each plan includes a number of simultaneous lines.
What it does on a call#
It answers, says it is an AI, and helps: it knows your services and hours, can take a message, can book an appointment against your real availability, can text a caller a link, and can put an urgent call through to you.
