AI disclosure and recording

What your AI says about itself, and why it is not optional.

At the start of every call your AI discloses that it is an AI. The exact wording follows the rules of your country, and recording behaviour follows that country’s consent rules.

Why it stays on#

  • The EU AI Act’s Article 50 transparency duty applies from August 2026.
  • In the United States the FCC has treated AI-generated voices as "artificial" under the TCPA since February 2024.
  • A caller who finds out afterwards stops trusting the business, not the machine.
NoteDisclosure is on by default and is not a setting you can turn off. The country you set on your workspace decides the line that is spoken.
